'Binders with a normal volume'
When filled up to the ring mechanism with mixed records- the use for which they were designed by the manufacturer. The typical wedge shape is retained.
The 80cm rotary files can hold a maximum of 24 wedge-shaped binders,
93 cm diameter
'Over-full binders'
Over-full binders are those which are filled beyond the capacity of their ring mechanisms. When these binders are overfilled, they loose their typical wedge shape and can no longer be arranged in this spcae saving circular arrangement. This results in a reduction in the maximum number of binders which can be stored on each level.
The 93cm rotary files can hold a maximum of 32 wedge-shaped binders.
